-
For bridal trials I don't offer house calls I have a studio where I take all my bridal trials. I only book trials on week days M-F on availability.
-
Trial is up to you I have personally seen brides book trial a year in advance or within their wedding month/week that seems late but some brides are out of state. If you can I would say at least 3 months in advance to give you time in case you need to purchase hair extension/ get hair cut to add layers in front for framing or if you needed to dye hair as well or want to choose a different style give you time to do some thinking.
-
My 2023-2024 books are open! I suggest at least 12- 5 months in advance when booking any less then that 50% of the time I am completely booked I may only have certain time slots available.
-

-
Yes I can work with them I personally love them think they are amazing especially when you want to have lashes on for honeymoon! I do recommend if you never had them to try them at least 2-3 months before wedding just incase your eyes are sensitive to the glue.
No I don't offer any discounts for ladies that bring their own lashes or have eyelash extensions.
-
It’s not required but I extremely recommend it ! Not only does it give you the idea of what makeup and hair is going to look like it does help me learn about your hair texture/thickness/length also recognizing your skin texture/face & eye shape/skin type this will give me the idea of how I need to prep hair and face. It will also tell me what I need to do to make sure your makeup and hair last for 8-12 hours+. Personally I have had clients tell me their hair was thick and long but when I arrived wedding day it was quite opposite they would have length but not the thickness or vice versa so unfortunately with the day already there we weren't able to make adjustments and were forced to just use what we had its a great investment to ensure you will have the look of your dreams.

I recommend making a Pinterest board or saving inspiration photos to help me better understand the style you are looking for I recommend picking photos that represent your skin tone/hair color/hair length unless your bringing extensions. That way we but can have a realistic goal if you have short hair and don't want extensions, bringing a photo of long Hollywood waves would be out of the question. Also pictures of blonde updos when your hair is dark brown/black won't give you a practical idea I recommend looking for dark hair updos as blonde/balayage hair have contrast so it gives more dimension. I do also recommend bringing a photo of your wedding dress when brides are torn between 2 hair looks/makeup looks I can give my professional advice and help you choose between the 2 styles to make sure it all ties in with your overall look. You have the last SAY but I do have indecisive clients that do need direction and I love to listen but also love to help my clients come to a final decision that will give them total confidence! I do recommend bringing your hair pieces/accessories or if you like to bring your veil that is great as well but optional also please come with Hair 100% dry and no makeup on freshly washed and gently exfoliated to remove any dead surface skin and brows clean. If you have a robe or tube top something that does expose décolleté it helps me match your skin tone and we can do body glow so you can see if that is something you want to add or skip out on. If you are planning on getting hair extensions please bring them or schedule trial once you have them.

It's due the day before your wedding/event when collecting payments in the past I find it stress free to not have to track down each lady in the bridal party to pay same day as it takes away time for other things like getting dressed packing car to head out or taking pictures. Also Zelle and many other payment apps do have a Daily/weekly limit and brides are paying other vendors as well. I do also take payments in advance as well or throughout the months leading to the wedding/event.

I do offer to stay after initial application at $175 an hour. Do I recommend it? I am very confident in the way I apply makeup to me it's something I don't feel like you may need but I totally respect your desire I also give a touch up kit to help you refresh your makeup if you felt anything did move or if your extremely oily. In the kit I do include lipstick touch up Bobby pins eyelash glue sponges and powder and various little things. I don't feel you would ever need a full new application. Please book this when booking your wedding day as I might not be available to stay after your makeup and hair is complete.

To be honest NO every artist is unique to their style can my artist achieve a wide variety of looks yes absolutely! I have full confidence in their work I have stylist that specialize in dramatic full glam makeup/soft glam/and natural. As well as hairstyles boho/Hollywood waves/and updos. I am also very adamant about making sure my team can work on all WOMEN any skin tone Deep-Fair and skin texture sensitive/Acne Prone/scaring/ mature skin. Also hair texture curly/fine/Straight/Short/long. I book based off of professionalism, sanitation, experience, knowledge of makeup styles and hairstyles, and artist that can adjust to any environment and bring amazing energy to the work space!

Yes travel fee is based on location of getting ready and I charge per artist if booking out my team once I know details if you like to budget it before booking please let me know and I will send you an estimate. I say estimate because if later you like to add on more services and it does require me to book out another artist the travel fee will go up. Also travel is subject to go up if gas prices rise. I don't charge assistant fees. Only other fee | am now adding is early bird meaning any start time that is before 6:00am is subject to $50 per artist Or $75 for anytime before 5am. $100 if it's before 4am. Also any travel time that is 2 hours or more I do require accommodations driving same day as wedding is risky.

In order to let you know I do need detailed information from you like what time you need to leave getting ready place to get to venue/what time you will be taking photos. You can get that information from your photographer if your not taking pictures prior and are heading straight to venue/church I just need to know how far it is to give you enough time to get dressed pack car and drive please don't give me the time your getting married as time you need to be ready by that will 100% make you late to your wedding ceremony. I recommend giving 30mins-1 hour cushion time to create a less stressed/rushed environment this will most likely be earlier morning but it is 100% worth it as time does truly fly when getting ready. Once I know all details I create a rough draft timeline that will give everyone their appointment times it can definitely be rearranged as I know some bridesmaids may be nursing/ driving far/or some need to be ready at a specific time I just need to know those details and we can set it in stone also sometimes not all timelines go accordingly due to many reasons on day of no stress at all we conform to any situation we will move on to next available lady as long as someone is in the chair at all times we will be good this is another reason to give cushion time.

Love this question when booking bride only I just need a space close enough to an outlet that is also out of high traffic spaces. I bring my own light chair makeup & hair kit if you have a small table or any table /counter I can work off that would be perfect! For booking my team if you can have a space large enough to accommodate everyone your group of girls and my artist it makes an uncomfortable situation when using small spaces to get ready in.
For these reasons:
•Not enough outlets/table space to work off of.
•The body heat and heat from our lights curling irons.
•Brushing elbows and knocking over products.
•You and your girls will not get to experience the full luxurious treatment when we are all packed in a small space.
Some other recommendations to make your day extra relaxing and to give you and your ladies the experience you have been waiting for is try and reduce the amount of kids in the room if possible I totally understand if it's non avoidable I love kids and have a lot so I get it but coco melon as your wedding getting ready playlist is not it !! Also we have tons of hot irons and some kids/babies are just curious and they love to come and see everything but me as a mom I'm so concerned they will try and touch it. Also crying babies can be a bit much when your thinking of a million things I see this 98% of the time this is just my opinion working in this industry and doing over 100-200 weddings a year I seen it all! Obviously when you book flower girls hair they need to be there.
Another major thing Please please come to appointment with completely DRY HAIR this is also your responsibility to let your bridal group know it's the number one killer of time we will not work on wet hair unless prior arrangements were made. Same for makeup clean faces is a must we have all skin care so no need to come with moisturizer we got you. Lastly I strongly encourage a great playlist to get us up and grooving I love all genres classical music may put me to sleep but I'll take it over hearing the sound of my breathing.

Always come with dry hair I personally recommend you wash the night before opposed to morning if your not planning on blow drying because it never tends to fully dry. if washing night before Please don't sleep with wet hair. I really don't recommend dirty hair as I have products that will give me the same result I find dirty hair can actually be oily and that is no good for styling.
•For CURLY HAIR : DEPENDING on the hair style you are wanting and what curl type you are you may need to get hair professionally smoothed out prior to wedding day if your in the 2a-2c normally just coming with it combed out is fine! 3a-3c always need smoothing I have 3a curl type I always blow dry smooth the day before to keep my volume but also to achieve the hairstyle I want without having to do it same day if I try putting heat over heat my curls won't last meaning if I straighten it and then right after curl it my curls will fall. So I strictly won't straighten and curl this goes for bridal group as well and it can be a 2-3 hour hair process which isn't practical wedding day. 4a-4c need to be straighten/professionally straighten.
• If your planning on using your NATURAL curls please disregard all above and come to us with those beautiful curls we will handle the rest!

This is a question I get all the time here are recommendations and how I personally style hair that doesn't hold curl. I recommend getting clip in hair extensions the blend of both your hair and the extension hair has normally always done the trick for me in the longevity of curls. Some reasons why hair doesn't hold:
•Virgin/heathly hair
•Using too much product/not using enough product
•Using too much conditioner this locks in the moisture causing hair to be less manipulative.
•Extreme hair damage/Fine hair
•using the wrong curling iron size
•touching your curls/not giving time to cool down
Using a smaller barrel is another way to secure curls even if your going for a looser look by the time you get to ceremony hair will fall right where you want it. If you don't want to invest in hair extensions or all else fails opting for an updo is perfect as each curl and strand is pinned maintaining your look all day and night!!

I always get told horror stories of the time my client went to another artist like back in 2007 and how they made their face look cakey or letting a friend that isn't professional do it. I have clients with many different skin types and when it comes to texture I can hide discoloration but texture will always be visible there isn't really a product that can remove it entirely I will however apply makeup uniquely to each ones complexion I do apply heavier on parts that need more coverage and apply normally to areas of the face that need less as some skin types are combination this will give you that non cakey face application.
If you struggle with acne and have dry skin in some areas and oily skin on t zone I will always do a cocktail skin prep applying moisturizer heavy on dry areas and avoiding oily areas and do a primer that will combat the oil this ensures makeup with last the entire day! For oily skin I do try and use serum and moisturizer that isn’t water based. Most of my moisturizers are water based so using non water based products is a must for me when dealing with oily skin water and oil don't mix. Goes for foundation as well using a semi matte/matte is the way to go to guarantee a long lasting wear and setting skin is so important for me as well to keep makeup from creasing.
For sweating especially for my summer brides I do set each layer as I go but for my extreme sweaters I do encourage patting sweat and then doing a powder touch up as we are human and no matter what product we use nature will take its toll! I do give a touch up kit so I have total confidence we can combat whatever it is !

For makeup applications for brides I do a full skin care treatment. I upgraded my kit completely on wedding day you can expect a mini facial eye patches serums moisturizer I also use my qua sha stone/jade roller to apply serums and get your face smooth and de-puffed. So no need to come with anything on I do recommend Drinking tons of water leading to your wedding day/event as that will help with skin elasticity especially if your doing more drinking as alcohol consumption can definitely dry out skin. I do strongly suggest washing face morning of and doing a gentle exfoliation to remove dead surface skin to give you the smoothest application possible think dolphin skin !!!
Acne prone/scarring/big pores skin with texture I recommend if you have time and or money to invest in your skin care routine. My biggest recommendation is to get with an amazing esthetician/ dermatologist as most face conditions are skin deep and as a makeup artist I don't have the power or products to completely remove texture doing a facial once a month or however many times your esthetician recommends can extremely improved the outcome of your makeup application. I have seen my clients that invested in facials really come out of it with a new found confidence and I will always be honest and let my ladies know what wonders it does.
I don't however recommend highly invasive facials within the month of your wedding as skin needs time to heal. I am not a medical professional so this is just a recommendation.

Makeup only trials/Hair only trials take 1-1.5 hours depending on how long hair is if we are adding extensions doing something very extravagant/dramatic.
Makeup and hair trials take 2-3 hours depending on the same as above length thickness and drama of the look play a big part in the time of trial if you have inspo pictures of the look you're going for I can give you an estimate of time it will take. It's not likely that I do take 3 hours but it has happened.
-
Anyone who isn't the bride is given 45 mins per application each some ladies may only take 30mins like Jr. Bridesmaid/Moms/Grandma/ladies with short hair/flower girls. Depending on style I may give my artist an hour-1.5 hours as some styles take longer to achieve like Hollywood waves and or dramatic makeup. I do ask for inspiration photos for each lady needing service prior to wedding to create a timeline.
This promotes a smoother wedding day when artist know what they are doing on who since we don't have time for trial wedding day or looking through tons of photos to pick from that can kill so much time it's ok to make mini changes but I do recommend knowing the exact look your ladies are going for. Highly recommend moms to send photos as saying “I want big hair/ natural look” doesn't explain in depth of what they are truly going for.
